Your phone should complement you and not be an extension of yourself as it you that people will decide whether or not has any social etiquette.
People around you in meetings for example will respect the fact that you are able to turn you cell phone off because it shows them deference. The type of wallpaper will not impress people as much as you turning your phone off in a meeting and may induce others to copy your good cell phone etiquette. Respect is a two way street so to have respect from others means you have to earn it and then there is the opportunity that others around you will copy your lead.
